Wellness is not some future goal that seems to always be just out of reach. Wellness is a series of small decisions and behaviors, available to everyone.
Here are six ways to approach wellness that bring both immediate and lasting benefits.
Six Ways to Celebrate National Wellness Month:

☀Gather Gratitude
Studies show that cultivating gratitude strengthens resilience and eases depression. Even in hard times, can you find one thing to be grateful for?
☀Take a Moment
Moments matter. Slow down and take it in. Acknowledging the moment helps create mindfulness and calm.

☀Make a Habit Happen
Focus on one good action to make a habit. That first glass of water in the morning, or stepping away from screens during meals, can go a long way.
☀Make a Move
Movement awakens the body and gets the blood flowing. Find a way to move that suits you, and try to make it a daily routine.

☀Nurture Nature
Whether it’s a hike or a time to sit outside and watch the birds, spending time in nature nourishes the spirit and the body.
☀Get Creative
Creativity is in everybody. Write a poem, draw a picture, sing a song, or invent a new recipe. Forget about whether it’s “good enough”-- it is.
